RANDOLPH ENGINEERING CONGRATULATES KIMBERLY RHODE ON SILVER MEDAL AT THE BEIJING OLYMPICS
RANDOLPH, MA – Peter Waszkiewicz, CEO of Randolph Engineering, Inc. is proud to congratulate their long-time spokesperson, Kimberly Rhode on her Silver Medal victory at the Beijing Olympics. “Kim has depended on our eyewear to perform in world-class competitions for a long time, and we’re so proud to be able to offer it to her. We’re absolutely thrilled for her.”, says Waszkiewicz.
Already the most decorated female Olympian in the history of USA Shooting, this Silver Medal completes her collection. Rhode won the Gold in Women’s Double Trap in 1996, the Bronze in 2000, and another Gold in 2004. After the International Shooting Sports Federation and the International Olympic Committee removed Women’s Double Trap from the Beijing Games, Rhode had to change her shooting discipline to skeet. While this would be an overwhelming hurdle for most, Rhode has once again exceeded everyone’s expectations.
“She trains hard. She really works at it. And somehow she still finds time for charitable events, lectures, veterinary school, an upcoming wedding, and offering advise to absolutely anyone who is interested in the sport. She joins us at the SHOT Show every year, and without fail she takes the time to encourage and offer professional tips to any man, women, or child to approach her. We can’t ask to be associated with a greater shooter.”, says Waszkiewicz.
Kim Rhode prefers to shoot wearing the Ranger XL. She’s worn RE Ranger shooting eyewear since her start in competitive shooting more than 16 years ago, at the age of 12. According to Rhode, “I choose to wear Randolph shooting glasses because they give me a competitive
edge. They fit my face well and the lenses clearly make the bird stand out.” Rhode wasn’t the only Olympian wearing RE Ranger eyewear at this year’s Games. Among others, David Kostelecky of the Czech Republic won the Olympic gold medal, and Hakan Dahlby came in 11th place in the men’s trap, both wearing the Ranger XL.
