Nothing says a promise, more than a lifetime. We feel that purchasing a pair of Randolph Eyewear is the beginning of a lifelong relationship. Our frames are some of the strongest in the world, that’s why we promise to repair or replace any broken solder joint for the lifetime of the frame. We wouldn’t have it any other way. That means that Randolph, at its option, will repair or replace any broken solder joint on its metal frame eyewear throughout the lifetime of the product. Warranted items will be replaced with an identical or reasonably equivalent style at our discretion.

What is a solder joint you ask? Soldering is a process in which two or more metal items are joined together by melting and putting a filler metal (solder) into the joint, the filler metal having a lower melting point than the adjoining metal. Long story short, hinges, brow-bars and metal nose pad arms are examples of areas where you might have a solder joint breakage. If you are you still unsure, not to fret, just send them back into us for a full evaluation.

2 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

For everything outside of our Lifetime Limited Warranty, Randolph additionally warrants its eyewear against breakage that may be caused by defects in manufacturing or workmanship up to two years from the date of consumer purchase and, at its option, will repair or replace any such eyewear with an identical or reasonably equivalent style at our discretion without charge during that period. Randolph warranty programs do not cover scratched lenses, temple tips, nose pads, accidental breakage, lost, stolen, dropped, sat on, ran over, dog ate them, or any damaged product by unreasonable use. For these creative cases, we have developed a Repair Program through which new lenses can be ordered upon availability. This warranty is void if the original lenses or frames are altered by the consumer. In addition, accessories or apparel are not covered under warranty at Randolph.

REPAIR PROGRAM

Randolph products are engineered to last a lifetime. In order to keep your eyewear looking first class and performing stupendously, we offer a repair or parts replacement service for those matters that are not covered under our warranty (such as scratched lenses and stepped or sat on frames for example). Although lens replacement is a service is offered through our repair program, we do not sell or ship lens replacements separately.

Step 1: To send your Randolph Engineering product for repair or warranty: Please send your product to: Attn: Customer Care Randolph Engineering. Inc. 26 Thomas Patten Drive Randolph, MA 02368 USA. Inside the package, please include the following: *Full Name *Street Address *Telephone Number (should we need to contact you) *Email address (if applicable) *Brief description of the problem or service you are requesting.

Step 2:  To ensure your Randolphs are treated with the utmost care, all repairs must be shipped directly to our returns department for service. We highly recommend sending your eyewear back to us using a trackable method.

Step 3:  After our engineers inspect and evaluate your repair, we will contact you to discuss your available options for repair, provide pricing details, and process your credit card payment.

 

Abandoned/Unclaimed Returned Items:

Customers who send items in for repair service are under obligation to collect them, and we are entitled to dispose the item(s) at our discretion if they remain uncollected.

In addition, if we are unable to successfully reach you after making every reasonable best effort to connect/contact you within a period of 6 months from the date we received the returned item; we will consider the item(s) abandoned and dispose of them accordingly.

 

TUNE-UP SERVICE

Life happens! We get it and we've got you covered.

For $25 we offer the best tune-up service in the industry, which includes a frame fit adjustment, a full cleaning, and shiny new nose pads. We will also do a full evaluation on your glasses and make any repair recommendations that may be needed.

(Note: for all service requests covered under warranty we provide this tune-up service at no charge for all Randolph product.)

Any consumer warranties of merchant-ability or fitness for a particular purpose which are not disclaimed under the foregoing language are conditioned on normal consumer use and do not cover damage which occurs beyond the point of manufacture, or failure which results from alteration, accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper maintenance.
