Nylon lens for the polarized lens/ glass lens for the Nimbus

I bought both version of the limited edition in “polarized” costal grey with Nylon lens & Nimbus grey “non polarized” in glass lens.

I’ve owned nylon lens in the past from a few top makers and never was a fan of Nylon due to the “bend distortion” and harder to clean @ times. Certain nylon lens material gets me dizzy when looking at extreme edge angles of a lens. I currently own about 8 pairs of Randolph and they are all glass lens material and I plan on doing so moving forward. Ended up returning the more expensive nylon pair. I ordered another pair of glass lens as a second pair. It was my fault that I didn’t read the material detail before purchasing thinking both design were glass lens.

Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re sorry to hear that the nylon lenses didn’t meet your expectations, but we’re glad to know that you're enjoying the glass lenses from Randolph. We’ll be sure to continue offering high-quality options for all preferences, and we appreciate your feedback for improving our future offerings. Thank you for being a loyal customer!

      Best Aviators … Period.

My sunglasses of choice the last 30 years … after many MANY try and fail attempts with other brands before then to find the perfect fit, style, and effectiveness … is Randolph Aviators. That will never change. My collection is large … and I always think it is complete … but Randolph continues to “up the standard” with a “must have”. I have never been disappointed.
