The second you pull them from their case, you immediately feel and see the quality of the materials and construction. I've owned plenty of quality sunglasses (original B&L Ray Bans, Serengetis, Maui Jims, Oakleys, ROKA, etc.), but the quality of these Randolphs is just a notch better than the best I've owned. The lens clarity, the frames, the plating, the fit and finish -- all at the highest level. The glasses feel substantial in the hand and have a satisfying weight to them as I'd expect from sunglasses with proper mineral glass lenses, but that frames are so well-made and well-balanced that they sit comfortably on my face for hours. Anyone who balks at the price should be aware that it is more than justified by quality of these glasses. They are among the finest pieces of eyewear I've owned independent of price. Glad to see a small, independent American company doing it right and taking pride in their work.

Another beautiful pair of sunglasses in stunning gold with tan lenses.

I have 7 pairs each in Concorde and Aviator styles and recently acquired a pair of Aviator 2 that was on sale at a price I couldn't ignore. I'd never had a browbar prior to these and I actually really liked it. It of course meant I had to have the Concorde equivalent in the Sportsman and so here we are.
