The Randolph Shelby – Redline is an excellent product. I own multiple pairs of Randolph sunglasses and have consistently been impressed by the quality, finish, engineering, and craftsmanship behind their products.
One area I would like Randolph to reconsider is offering customers the option to purchase the frame only. Prescription lenses directly from Randolph can be quite expensive, and for customers like me who prefer to purchase the frame and have prescription lenses made separately, there currently does not appear to be a frame-only option. Offering this flexibility would make Randolph eyewear more practical and cost-effective for prescription customers while allowing us to choose our preferred lens provider, their sales will spike.
Most of my Randolph collection consists of squared Aviator styles in several different colors, so I purchased the Shelby – Redline to add some variety. It has a distinctive look while still delivering the premium quality I have come to expect from Randolph.
If you are an eyewear enthusiast who appreciates excellent materials, precision engineering, attention to detail, and craftsmanship, Randolph is definitely worth considering. In fact, you may find yourself buying more than one pair—I am fairly confident about that, and you can challenge me on it after your first purchase!
