Both Carroll Shelby and Randolph’s founders, Jan Waszkiewicz began as military fighter pilots. When they returned home, they both still fueled by their fearless flying, and wanting to bring that same fearless precision engineering and dependability from above the clouds back down to earth.

Carrol Shelby medium was the automobile. Shelby dropped airplane engines into lightweight frames and revolutionized performance driving. Jan and Stanely wanted to work on a smaller scale, after experiencing the need for dependable eyewear from their time in the military, they set off to handcrafted optical tools that would evolve into battle-test Aviators trusted by the U.S. Military to this Day.
