Emma Stone and Jonah Hill star in Maniac released in 2018 on Netflix. Maniac is a dark-comedy series about a delusional and lonely man who crosses paths with an addicted and goal-oriented girl. Both find each other when they agree to participate in a high-risk experiment to achieve happiness.

About Maniac Netflix TV Series 

The 10-episode straight to Netflix series is a remake of a 2014 Norwegian series created by Espen PA Lervaag and Håkon Bast Mossige.  We can’t wait to see the first episode as early footage shows Emma Stone wearing our Randolph P3 round sunglasses in the series!

The Maniac show began filming in New York City in 2017 and is created by Patrick Somerville and directed by Cary Fukunaga,

“Cary’s a filmmaker I really want to work with – and working with Emma again – that’s a very attractive thing to be part of.” Says Jonah Hill in an interview with Digital Spy in 2016.

Justin Theroux also stars in the series, and plays a character named James Mantleray, who is rumored to be an alcoholic mad scientist.
