    Fit Guide

    Aviator Fit Guide

The size 52mm Aviator is designed for narrow faces, or those that prefer their sunglasses to fit slightly smaller than the width of their face.
Prescription frame size guide for Aviators

If your total PD (pupillary distance, found on your prescription) is between 54-60, choose size Small 52mm or Size Regular 55mm.

If your total PD is between 60-65, your best frame size is Regular 55mm or 58mm.

If your total PD is between 65-70+ your best frame size is Large 58mm or XL 61mm.

Note: It is best to size up if you are in between.

Are you familiar with Randolph eyewear sizes and fit? If not, one guideline to compare frame sizes is to determine the size of a comfortable frame you already own. The frame sizes are universally listed as:"Lens Width - Bridge - Temple" is usually on the inside of the temple or sometimes under the bridge of the frame. For example: "55-20-145." If you already own a pair of Randolphs, you can find your size by checking under the bridge, the size is listed as "Lens Width - Bridge" for example "58-20."

If you need help selecting the best size for you, please reach out to our team and we will be happy to help!

      Aviators Cobalt 14K while gold

These are my third pair of Randolph’s and I must say the lenses are second to none in quality. I also have a collection of Randolph’s shooting glasses for sporting clays which are great.

      Perfect Aviator

The fit and finish on these are so amazing. The nose pads, the shiny white gold, the bayonet temples, everything. They are simply perfect. I love the crisp, clear view through these Cobalt glass lenses. Can’t ask for anything better!

      Superior lens, gorgeous glasses

My dog ate my Maui Jims late last summer. I’ve worn MJs for more than 10 years and I like them but wanted a change. I did some research and liked that Randolph Engineering sunglasses are made in the U.S. using glass lenses and metal frames. Everyone who knows sunglasses seems to recommend RE so I decided to try a pair. I ordered a Regular and they were too small for my big head. I ordered a Large and they were a little too small. I was torn because I absolutely loved them. When a customer service representative told me last fall that RE would be launching an XL Aviator in the spring, I decided to order a cheaper temporary pair and wait until spring. I am so glad that I did.

These glasses are amazing. The clarity from the glass lenses is phenomenal. I’ve never seen a better lens. The white gold frames are beautiful. The contrast between the Cobalt lenses and white gold frames is so nice. The glasses are comfortable to wear. The craftsmanship is top tier. I love them.
