Built To Military Standards
We wanted to make a difference. Leave a mark. Be proud of something. So in 1978, we joined forces with the U.S. military to produce the HGU-4/P Aviator for fighter pilots. Each Aviator is built to strict guidelines of MIL-S-25948 standards, a 20-page document detailing the most complex manufacturing specs around.

Guaranteed for a lifetime. Or two.
Built to a higher standard using the world’s finest materials, we stand by each pair of frames we make. So much so, that we offer a lifetime warranty. Take them with you around the world, and back again.
23K Gold and Other Premium Metals
The same precious metal finishes found on the world’s finest timepieces are layered on at up to 5x the industry standard.

Our Iconic Bayonet temples were designed to slide easily under pilot headsets, helmets and other headgear. Which means pure comfort and ease. We also calculate the exact angle of the bend on the Skull temple to prevent headaches that may sometimes occur from undue temple pressure.

5 out of 5 Randolph Fusion 55mm
Michael Riley –
I bought this pair for use as (self-tinting) eyeglasses. Currently, I have AO and the Randolph is definitely superior. I got the tortioseshell, which came with gunmetal frame, so a bit disappointed I can only get temple arms. Not sure how that will go for daily wear. But, when I tried them on at the opticians, for sizing the lenses, their eyes genuinely lit up and they complimented me on my choice of frames. I’m well-used to opticians saying anything about prospective frames, just to get the sale done, so I can tell the difference when it’s genuine. But if you can let me know if you decide to release some gunmetal arms that go over the ear, it would certainly be appreciated.
