PRECISION-BUILT TO MILITARY STANDARDS SINCE 1982

With a tireless work ethic and endless determination, our founders built Randolph into an elite eyewear manufacturer. In 1982, Randolph won a contract to produce the standard, uniform-issue military-spec aviator sunglasses for the U.S. Air Force, a contract we proudly hold to this day.

GUARANTEED FOR LIFE

Ever heard of a sunglass company guaranteeing its frames for life? Well, we do. Our frames are built to such high specifications that we stand by each pair for as long as you own them.

23K GOLD AND OTHER PREMIUM FINISHES

Jewelry-quality finishes aren’t just stylish. They’re also extremely tough—applied at up to 5 times the industry standard and electroplated for maximum durability and scratch-resistance.

MADE IN AMERICA. COMMITTED TO AMERICAN JOBS

Throughout Randolph’s history, our family-owned New England factory has honored its commitment to American jobs and manufacturing—even as other sunglass companies began moving their operations offshore in the 1980s. We are proud to be the only remaining metal eyewear manufacturer in the USA.

HANDMADE AND DETAIL-DRIVEN

It takes craftsmen in our Randolph, Massachusetts factory over five weeks to build a single pair of Randolph glasses. More than 200 steps go into making each and every frame—and most of the work is done by hand.

STAY-SNUG SCREWS

Our stainless steel screws have been specially-designed to have a flared tip that prevents them from coming out, ensuring a perfect fit for years of wear.

CUSTOM SOLDER (saw-der) FLUX

At Randolph, we even make our own solder flux (this is the machine that solders the glasses together). This, in combination with a 56% silver filler, provides unequaled joint strength and integrity.

SPECIAL METAL ALLOYS

We scour the world for the best components, including metal alloys with tight molecular structure, to prevent rust and oxidation and satisfy our drive for superior quality.

COMFORT AND THOUGHT ENGINEERED INTO EVERY FEATURE

Nose pads self-adjust for fit and comfort, while smooth monoblock hinges mean no sharp corners to snag clothing. That’s a relief!

  5. 5 out of 5 Excellent Frame

I've used these frames for years. An excellent product. I like them for everyday wear and for some shooting and outdoor events where they've proven themselves fairly rugged enough for some fairly high adventure activity. In particular, I appreciate the cable temples as the glasses stay on my head.

  7. 5 out of 5 Randolph P-3

    Sirs,

I have several pairs of P-3s with different clear or neutral gray Rx lenses. I bought this pair as a replacement for a gold/cable pair that had a broken cable ear piece. Unfortunately the size of the lens opening was not the same so I just substituted the two cable temples. If I had a choice I would prefer to not have the RE logo on the temples, but I understand your interest in branding. Parrelli Optical in MA has just put lenses in the previously ordered P-3 and Ashby frames. You could probably make it easier for the people that you list as carrying your frames to have a selection in their show rooms. Personal Eyes in Randolph evidently can't get sample frames now, I had bought P-3s and Rangers with Rx inserts from them before.

I like the practical design of your frames. I still do some construction and woodworking, landscaping and for many years rockclimbing, trail running, mountain biking, tele-skiing, and flyfishing. Trap shooting is recent addition due to the prodding of a childhood friend. In the last few years I have been frequently involved in coho salmon and steelhead counts and native plant surveys. The cable temples help keep the glasses on my face, bravo. The shape of the P-3s have a relatively large sweet spot for my blended bi-focal lenses considering their relatively compact size.

This note is for your interest and I would prefer that you don't publish it. I do enjoy supporting Massachusetts businesses, I grew up in a factory town there.

    Sincerely.

    Randolph P-3

  8. 5 out of 5 Highly Recommended

Although I had to return these frames due to sizing of the lens (to big for my face), I think that these are some high quality frames. I wish they had fit becuase really did hate to return them. I would highly recommend these frames to anyone.

Randolph frames in my opinion are the best! I have a pair of 20 year old aviators that are still holding up and look great! Once wore them to my nephew's office, he asked if they were Ray Bans, I said NO, these are better! He looked at them and agreed. I purchase the P-3 RX frames because I love the round look, My P-3 sunglasses are extremely attractive, I once wore them to my waterhole along with my Irish Tam, the gang said I looked like a Hollywood director. Lol. Randolph frames are the best quality and value, would never purchase any other brand!
